Back by popular demand, this year’s V8s in the Vines will head to Paso Robles! Mystic Hills, a family-run, award-winning vineyard, has graciously offered to open its doors for a private tasting. The winery is known for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style blends, led by winemaker and Oscar-winning film editor Joel Cox and his wife, Judy.
The day kicks off at 11:00 a.m. with a rendezvous at Starbucks in Paso Robles — time for a little tire-kicking, hood-raising, and caffeine before we fire up the engines for a scenic 30-minute cruise through wine country to the vineyard. Upon arrival, lunch from a local favorite deli will be waiting, followed by a guided tasting led by Joel and Judy themselves.
Make it a day trip — or turn it into a full weekend escape. Suggested accommodation is Hotel Siri, currently offering rooms starting around $150 per night. For those staying over, we’ll continue the good times by exploring Paso Robles’ surprisingly vibrant culinary scene.
Space is limited, so don’t stall — reserve your spot soon. It’s shaping up to be the perfect blend of polished chrome, rolling hills, bold reds, and great friends.
