Following the drive we will be stopping for lunch at
The Old Place in Cornell. This is another local legend spot for all car clubs and canyon carvers and has been serving incredible food at their gorgeous Yukon Gold Rush style bar since 1970. After lunch you are welcome to drive back by Victory Jon and he will capture another angle on the way out of the mountains.
This event is
COMPLETELY FREE TO ATTEND and limited to
just 30 cars. However, the photos will be edited, processed, distributed, and paid to Victory Jon directly. For any questions please contact Randall and he will be happy to help as he has worked with Jon before and can attest to his character and the quality of his work.
Event Schedule and Route:
09:45 am - Arrival for Tire Kicking in Woodland Hills (Optional Breakfast beforehand shared upon registration)
10:15 am - Departure for Victory Jon
11:00 am - Rendezvous and Formation of Group Prior to Photos
11:15 am - Group Departure for Victory Jon and The Old Place
11:30 am - Arrival at the Old Place for Lunch
01:00 pm - Return drive back by Victory Jon
The route will be roughly 30 miles one way through tight canyons starting in Woodland Hills, winding down through Topanga, and then West to Cornell on Mulholland Highway. The route will be shared prior to the event via email; all cars are welcome. This is not a canyon carving or spirited driving rally; however, do keep in mind that this is a canyon drive, there will be significant elevation and tight corners throughout the route. Please ensure your tires are checked, radiators topped up, and brakes are, well, braking!
